I am currently a Ph.D. candidate (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) at the University of North Texas. Along with my Ph. D, I am also pursuing an MA in Interaction Design.
I am looking forward to combining my knowledge and skills as a communicator and a scientist to approach complex problems and guide the digital product team and contribute to a company's growth. I care about details, customer needs, company goals, and like to keep up to date with trends.

This quote from Robert Frost’s poem has been applied to many decisions I have made in my life. One of these decisions is to pursue my passion as a scientific illustrator. During my Ph.D., I took part in a Three Minute Thesis competition where we were challenged to effectively communicate scientific research to individuals outside of STEM in less than three minutes. It was during this competition I discovered a passion for challenging communication barriers and delivering my research visually.
